e-checks

Accepting checks by phone, web or at the point-of-sale are all considered e-checks that are electronically debited from a customers account.  The account's routing number and account number, plus the permission of the account holder, are enough to execute an E-check transaction, which are processed through the nation's automated clearing houses, and are therefore also referred to as "ACH's".  The National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) sets the rules and regulations for ACH's and E-Checks, and has authorized these transactions which are available through Digital EFT Solutions:
